A view is recorded each time a SmartVideo player on your site loads the start of its video, whether or not the visitor presses play. Startup includes 10,000 views a month, Growth 50,000, and Pro 150,000, pooled across every video on your account.

Plans start at $19/month with unlimited bandwidth and encoding included, plus 1–5 TB of storage depending on plan.

Nothing stops playing. Extra views are billed at a flat per-thousand rate on your next invoice — $2 per 1,000 on Startup, $1 per 1,000 on Growth, $0.75 per 1,000 on Pro. There is no throttling and no cut-off mid-play, even during a traffic spike.

Annual billing saves $48 a year on Startup ($19/mo vs $23), $120 a year on Growth ($59 vs $69), and $240 a year on Pro ($99 vs $119). Monthly is the same plan with the same limits, billed month to month. Either way there is no long-term contract, and you can switch cycles later by emailing support — your videos, embeds, and CDN keys are untouched by a cycle change.

Yes. Every plan comes with a 14-day free trial. A credit card is required to start, but you are not charged until day 15 — cancel before the trial ends and you will not be charged.

Email support@swarmify.com and we will cancel immediately or at your next renewal, whichever you prefer. After a cancellation we hold your encoded videos for a 30-day grace period — reactivate inside that window and everything picks up where you left off. After 30 days the encoded content is permanently removed, so keep a copy of your original source files somewhere you control. See manage your plan or billing.

You keep your channel; you only swap the embeds on your own site. Automatic YouTube conversion is best-effort — some videos convert, some don’t — so for a clean migration bring each video into your SmartVideo library: upload your original file (or a download from YouTube Studio) and replace the YouTube embed with the SmartVideo one. You do not have to re-upload anything. When you install SmartVideo, it automatically detects Vimeo embeds on your pages and converts them to our player. Your videos keep their existing URLs and embed codes — viewers just get a faster, cleaner experience. SmartVideo imports Vimeo videos whose Who can watch setting is Anyone. To keep those videos private to your own site while SmartVideo serves them, set Where can this be embedded to Specific domains and list your website’s domain. Password-protected and Only me videos stay on Vimeo; change the setting to convert them.

For most sites, it takes under 5 minutes. On WordPress, install our plugin and activate it. From the WordPress admin sidebar, click SmartVideo, paste your unique Swarm CDN Key into the field on the Setup tab, and click Enable SmartVideo. See the WordPress install guide.
