You can start the 14-day free trial with a card or PayPal, and there’s no charge until day 15. If your card is declined, the simplest fix is to choose PayPal on the signup form instead. If you’d rather use the card, your bank may ask you to approve it through a verification step before checkout can finish. See How the free trial works for the trial’s billing details.
If you’re already a customer and trying to replace a saved card in Dashboard → Billing, see My card update won’t go through instead.
What is 3-D Secure?
3-D Secure is an extra security check for online card payments that lets your card’s issuing bank verify that it’s really you. Depending on your bank, the check may use a verification window or redirect, a code sent by SMS, or an approval in your banking app.
At signup, complete any bank-approval prompt that appears. A blocked window, an expired code, or an approval that times out can leave verification unfinished. A decline can also have another cause; the error message alone doesn’t mean 3-D Secure is the problem.
What to check
- A verification window doesn’t open: allow popups for the signup page and disable extensions that block redirects or scripts.
- The SMS or banking-app approval times out: keep your phone ready and complete your bank’s instructions while the prompt is still active.
- The verification prompt keeps repeating: try a mainstream browser with no extensions.
- The card details may not match: check the card number, expiry, security code, and billing address against the details your bank has on file.
- The bank won’t approve the card: choose PayPal on the signup form instead, or try a different card. Your card’s issuing bank can tell you why it declined the verification or payment attempt.
Try once, then try again only if you’ve fixed a specific problem, such as a blocked verification window. If the second attempt also fails, stop and contact support. Repeated attempts in a short time can be blocked by our payment processor’s fraud checks, even when the card itself is fine.
Contact support
Email support@swarmify.com or use the message widget in the corner of this page. Support replies within 24 hours on weekdays, and including the details below up front saves a round trip.
Include:
- The email address you used for signup
- The last 4 digits of the card and roughly when you tried
- The error message or a screenshot, and whether a bank-verification prompt appeared
Never send a full card number, security code, expiry, or bank-verification code. Enter card details only in the signup form, not in a support message.
