How to fix common issues when using SmartVideo with Autoptimize, a popular WordPress optimizer plugin

Running into issues while using SmartVideo with Autoptimize? There’s a simple solution.

  1. From your WordPress dashboard, go to Settings > Autoptimize.

  2. Uncheck Also aggregate inline JS? and click Save changes & clear cache.

The clip shows an older Autoptimize screen; the current button label is Save changes & clear cache, as documented in Autoptimize’s FAQ.

Autoptimize should be playing nicely with SmartVideo now! 🙌
