So, the thing I hate the most about YouTube embeds, other than the bloated code, is that they can steal my traffic with their branding and suggested videos. Our player and network are designed with content security at their core. First, automatic download protection is active on all videos. Our technology prevents playback or download of your content unless it is being streamed through our player on your configured website.
Second, we don’t provide an external embed URL that could be stolen and used on other sites. Your video is locked to play back only within your own site. For maximum security, we recommend uploading your videos directly to the SmartVideo Library in your Swarmify Dashboard, which makes the source URL unusable in any other environment.
How difficult is it to install SmartVideo? Do I need a developer? ✨
Not at all! For most users, installation is as simple as copy and paste.
- For WordPress users: We have a dedicated WordPress plugin that handles everything for you. Just install the plugin and add your “Swarm CDN Key” from your dashboard.
- For other sites (Squarespace, custom HTML, etc.): You simply copy a single line of code from your Swarmify dashboard and paste it into the header of your website.

Do you have any restrictions on content types? 🚫
Swarmify does not have any specific restrictions on acceptable content types. You may use our video delivery for any content that is legally permissible subject to United States law; and for which you have the appropriate rights to use and transmit to your customers.
